This weekend I had the privilege of going to Albany, Oregon and visiting the Albany Historic Carousel & Museum. They have a carousel inside full of all different kinds of animals, a snack shop, gift shop, and a museum and carving room. We had a tour from Wendy, the lady who started the whole thing. She was knowledgeable, fun, and really loves what she does. I had so much fun visiting this place and learning. I was even able (with assistance of course) to chip off a piece of a work in progress. I think I was all smiles the entire time. I will treasure this trip. The photo is my favorite horse on the carousel, which I got to ride.
