This last weekend, my niece got married at Evergreen Lodge in Groveland, CA. That is just outside the gates of Yosemite. There were so many family and friends there. It was a great time to catch up with those we don’t see very often and get to know some new friends. I was reminded time again that we need to get together with family just a little bit more. There seems to be too many excuses for not getting together or traveling (even just a few hours) to keep the relationships going. The wedding itself was absolutely gorgeous. There was laughter and tears of joy as well as sadness as we thought about those who could not be there to help with the celebration.
